April 08, and the new roof is moved into place on XP853. 

 The shape is spot on and looking good..........

 Still a little green around the rubber sealing ring, I think I will have to replace it as it is starting to perish with age.
 

First thing to notice is the doors actually fit!

The new frame is totally bare and is not even pre-drilled. There will be hours of work ahead to fit the emergency door release mechanism on all four doors. All of these extra fittings will have to be first removed from the original damaged frame........oh joy :(
