1982 W123 Mercedes Benz Hearse
This is the hearse I purchased on eBay. This Mercedes W123 saloon was converted in Ireland by the coachbuilders Duffy. In my opinion the hearse has been a very under valued vehicle for many years. A practical large estate, low mileage & far cooler than any van. Dont make your first trip in a hearse, your last trip....ever!
1969 Daimler V8 250 Saloon
This Daimler was basically a Jaguar Mk 2 body fitted with the excellent 2.5 litre V8 engine designed by Edward Turner.
Originally purchased by Sir Ewat Smith deputy chairman of ICI from Coombs garage in Guilford who owned this car for 11 years.
Then bought by an Antique dealer. I used to see this very car parked in London's Covent Garden and drool over it. By chance, a couple of years later I got into conversation with the owner who told me about his vintage Daimler he was thinking of selling......oh dear!
My 21st birthday present to myself...........18 years ago (I think the car has worn better than me?)
